Obtiva Powers TechWeek Training

Jul 18, 2011

TechWeek (July 22-29, 2011) promises to be an unforgettable week complete with an expo at the Merchandise Mart, conference sessions and dozens of off-site events, all celebrating Chicago's new culture of technology.

An important component of TechWeek is the training, and Obtiva is honored to be the organizer and producer of all TechWeek training. We have recruited a lineup of 11 accomplished, prominent speakers who will lead a variety of in-depth, interactive training sessions. The topics range from Agile basics to mobile UX design; from Ruby on Rails to Clojure; from web typography to web design. Every one of the sessions will convey invaluable skills that participants can put to use immediately in their personal and professional lives.

Here's a quick overview and summary of each of the 11 training sessions.

Our involvement with TechWeek training brings to life one of Obitva's core values: helping to cultivate the next generation of software developers and technologists in the community. We'll be introducing each of the 11 trainers here over the next several weeks as TechWeek approaches.

Sign up now on the TechWeek website for these indispendible training sessions. The TechWeek Conference & Expo pass includes all these trainings at no additional fee.

Also, take note of the special Code Retreat with Corey Haines, Michael Feathers and Tyler Jennings - this all-day session from 8 am to 4 pm will be held at the ITA TechNexus site at 200 S. Wacker.
