Calling all NoSQL groupies! Don’t miss Mongo Chicago, an all-day event October 20 that includes an all-star lineup of expert speakers and sessions including one led by Obtiva apprentice-turned-developer Ethan Gunderson.
Ethan will speak about MongoDB use case for Gather.us, a community-driven event management site he co-founded with fellow Obtivian Ryan Briones.
That Ethan… he’s always out there sharing his wisdom with the world. He’s a NoSQL and Ruby zealot, co-founder of the Chicago DB User Group, and helped launch a Ruby User Group in Wisconsin. He also was recently published in Rails Magazine.
Mongo Chicago is sponsored by 10gen, a company that provides technical support for MongoDB and sponsors the open source MongoDB project, so you know it will be an awesome event. Plan to attend on October 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Illinois Institute of Technology on S. State St. Ethan hits the stage at 4:30. You can learn more and register here.
